This soil is specifically designed for nature-based SuDS Bio Retention projects, such as Bio Retention Basins, Swales, and Trenches, which require high permeability. Its fast-draining capabilities are due to the predominance of medium sand (0.25-0.50mm) and a lower proportion of coarse sand (0.50-1.0mm), along with a very high saturated hydraulic conductivity of 315mm/hr.
While the high permeability is a key feature, the organic matter and nitrogen levels are by design slightly lower. These factors might influence the soil's suitability for your project. Consider appropriate amendments based on your specific requirements.
